
Hello, my name is Christina Hart and I am the Intervention Specialist for Arapahoe Ridge High School. I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I will be working closely with the Counselor and Administrators providing school-based prevention and intervention services. The conversations that I have with students are confidential. This means that I will not share what I discuss with a student unless she/he provides me with written permission. There are some limitations to confidentiality that I will discuss with students prior to meeting with them. The primary issues that I address with students include, but are not limited to:

•family problems
•peer conflict
•grief/loss
•school-related concerns
•gang involvement
•legal concerns HIV/AIDS/STIs
•relationships
•physical and sexual abuse
•sexual orientation
•gender identity
•sexuality

•interpersonal/family violence
•diversity/multi-cultural issues
Students can be seen on a referral basis from teachers, counselor, parents, friends and administration. In addition, I maintain an open-door policy for students and staff. My office is located downstairs across from the library.
