I have been the Principal’s Secretary “since the beginning of time” – that is “Arapahoe Ridge” time.  The school was started in September of 1995 with only two freshman classes, two teachers and a very part time principal.  I came to ARHS in September of 1996, loving the family-like atmosphere and the great kids.

I was born on a Kansas farm where I lived untill my pre-teen years.  My father injured his back and just couldn’t do the hard physical labor that it took to be a farmer in the 50’s.  We moved to Longmont, Colorado where I graduated from Longmont High School.  I also graduated from Denver Technical Business School.

I have three wonderful children and 4 cutie-pie grandchildren.  My oldest two children and their families live within minutes of me, and my youngest child is in the Marines.  My parents also live close by.  My precious family means the world to me.

Hobbies – well…….I love cooking for my family, counted cross-stitching, crafts and singing.  I also have a wonderful greyhound named Sassy and animals in general are my passion.
