Arapahoe Ridge High School

A focus high school designed to implement a dual educational program of career related coursework as well as academic knowledge and skills.

Graduates finish their high school coursework with at least one technical certificate while simultaneously meeting the content area and elective requirements for a BVSD high school diploma. In 2003-2004 Arapahoe Ridge High School expanded the options that it offers to include the Newcomer Program.

The integration of the Career and Technical focus helps students to integrate knowledge across content areas, provides a base for meaning in the real world and enables students to apply their knowledge and skills in a way that demonstrates understanding and mastery.

Graduates of ARHS may enter Front Range Community College and articulate between 15 and 45 credits towards an Associate Degree in their technical field, begin a Baccalaureate Degree program at any college, and/or gain employment in the area of their technical studies.
