Information about 4th Grade

Jill Cannon:
I am a new 4th grade teacher at Aspen Creek K-8 and I am thrilled and proud to be part of the Boulder Valley School district.  I grew up in Southern California and have been living in Colorado for the past 18 years.  I have a wonderful husband and three terrific children.  We love being outdoors and enjoy snow boarding, skiing and boating together.  In the past, I have worked for the F. B. I. and Colorado National Bank Shares in computer operations and most recently completed my practicum in 1st and 4th grade at Birch Elementary.  In May 2007, I completed my student teaching in 2nd grade at Aspen Creek K-8 and graduated from Regis University with a BA in Liberal Arts and an elementary education teacher licensure.  It is a pleasure to be part of a wonderfully caring and capable learning community and I am looking forward to a fantastic year in 4th grade! 

Brian Geraghty:
I have been teaching for a total of  8 years.  I love to teach math and enjoy doing mental math problems for a warm-up every day before class.  His favorite quote is:
“Everything happens for a reason.”

Heidi Peterson:
I have been teaching for 14 years.  Seven of my 13 years  have been spent at Aspen Creek. I got my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I became a teacher because of my love for learning and I want to spread my passion for learning with others.
