Fifth Grade
In fifth grade, the students immerse themselves in the United States, learning about the foundation of the government, how individual families immigrated here, and the major conflicts. In Science, students learn about landforms, chemistry, and the human body.
In the spring, our fifth grade students work on a Passageways curriculum to help support them in their transition to middle school. This work is done weekly in the classroom and culminates in an outdoor education trip in the spring.
