2008-2009 BEAR CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS, All GRADES:

All students need TENNIS SHOES and a WATER BOTTLE for P.E.  To be considered a tennis shoe, the shoe must COVER, CUSHION, HUG and LEAVE NO MARKS.  Sandals, boots, and Crocs will NOT be allowed in P.E.

KINDERGARTEN

AM CLASS ONLY

1 ball of yarn, any color
1 package of sponges
5 Scotch brand white(not purple) glue sticks
1 package of white copy paper
1 package of stickers, any design
1 package of dry eraser markers
1 box of Crayola, broad-line colored markers
PM CLASS ONLY

1 set of Prang water color paints, 8 colors
1 box Ziploc snack-sized bags
1 roll of clear Scotch tape refill
1 package of white copy paper
1 pack of stickers, any design
1 bottle liquid hand soap refill
1 box of Crayola, broad-line colored markers

 NOTE:  Kindergarteners, please bring all supplies on your assessment day.  Only backpacks should be marked with your name.  All other supplies are added to the shared class supplies. 

 

FIRST GRADE

*1 box Crayola crayons, 24 count
*1 pair pointed Fiskars scissors
*2 boxes Crayola wide-tipped markers, 8 count
*1 box Crayola watercolor paints, 8 count
1 box Flair fine-lined felt-tip pens, black, 6 count
*1 three-ring binder, 1" diameter rings (no larger), hard cover w/ clear front pocket
*1 dozen glue sticks
*1 large plastic school box (7"x11"x21/2")
*1 large pink eraser
*1 wide-lined spiral notebook
1 box #2 pencils, 12 count, sharpened
1 box Kleenex tissues
1 re-fill package of anti-bacterial hand wipes

NOTE:  First graders, please bring all supplies on your assessment day in a grocery bag marked with your name.  ONLY items with an * should be labeled with each child’s name.  In addition, we would like to collect a $10.00 cash donation per child to be used to purchase sheet protectors for poetry notebooks, supplemental party supplies, film development, antibacterial soap, etc.  Students will keep the poetry notebooks.  Our supply requests are very specific: we have found that these choices are best for our children and our program.  Thank you!
