Exchange Student Information
Important Note Regarding Foreign Exchange Students: Foreign Exchange Students will
only be allowed to attend BVSD schools if they are associated with a district approved
exchange organization. Please call the Super intendents office 303-447-5114 to
determine if a program is approved. They must also be approved by the BHS principal
before enrolling. Foreign students who are visiting on a visitor's visa will not be allowed
to enroll in any BVSD school
If you have a student who is visiting through an approved exchange program, and you have authorization from the BHS principal, do the following:

New Student Enrollment
You must attend ONE of the following New Student Enrollment meetings (the sooner, the better):
- Friday, April 18th: 10am, BHS Auditorium
- Wednesday, May 28th: 3pm, BHS Auditorium
- Monday, August 4th: 12pm, BHS Auditorium
- Wednesday, August 13th: 4pm, BHS Auditorium
Bring the following paperwork (we will be keeping this paperwork):
- Completed Enrollment Packet
- Copy of Proof of Residence (utility bill, current lease with guardian's name, mortgage agreement. Drivers license will not be accepted)
- Copy of student birth certificate OR passport
- Copy of student immunizations
- Copy of most recent unofficial or official transcripts
During the New Student Enrollment meetings, there will be school counselors present.
They will present you with graduation requirements and discuss with you the course selection process.
Do not contact the counseling office before your New Student Enrollment meeting.
