CHS Summer 2008 Information

Summer Office Hours

Beginning June 2nd, 2008, and extending through July 25th, the Centaurus main office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 to 4:00. Effective July 28th the regular office hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 3:30 will resume.

Counselors will be back in school on July 31st, 2008. They will be helping with registration and new student orientation.

Summer School Information

Boulder Valley summer school classes will be offered at Boulder and Monarch High Schools - Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Session 1 will run from June 9th through June 26th.
Session 2 will run from June 30th through July 17th.

The cost per class is $195.

Advanced L.A. Summer Reading Lists

Required summer reading for all advanced classes:

Students taking IB or AP language arts classes will be contacted by their teachers for a class meeting to explain the summer assignments.

For all other advanced classes, the reading lists are as follows:

Advanced American Literature (Juniors)

Readings for all advanced classes must be completed by the first day of fall semester.
