There is a small thing on a leaf. It is a caterpillar! Most moth caterpillars are smaller then a centimeter when they are born! When they start growing they shed their skin because they get too big for it. They never stop eating. When they are born they even eat their eggs. Some caterpillars eat bugs but most eat plants. They spin silk to use as an escape rope because they have small legs so they can not run fast.
I got my information from AMAZING WORLD OF BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS.
