The Coal Creek web site has 3 purposes: Communication, Information and Publication.
Communication: This site provides school news and information for parents and the greater Louisville and BVSD community. Mabel Gong the pages listed under School Information on the menu. The Family Handbook is being maintained by Tanya Stearns. The handbook information is usually updated in the summer.
Information: The web site also provides a gateway to the Internet for students when searching for information for school projects. There are links to research tools (magazines, bibliography and graph generators, atlases, etc) and search engines for children.
Publication: Publishing student work is an effective way to communicate, provide information and celebrate the accomplishments of students. Linda Overholser maintains the pages listed under Research Tools and Student Projects.
