Teaching Experience
After teaching preschool/kindergarten
age students with special needs for 4 years at the University of Colorado, I
joined the Public School System. I taught emotionally handicapped and learning
disabled students in grades 1-8 for 20 years. I began teaching 2nd grade at Crest
View Elementary in 1998 and am enchanted by 7-8 year olds. Their enthusiasm to
learn about adademic subjects, as well as their excitement regarding life and
relationships makes my job as an educator a joy!
