Teaching Experience
I grew up in Pueblo, Colorado where I was inspired by many fine teachers. I received my bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Colorado in 1971, and taught both vocal and instrumental music in Pueblo Public Schools. Since moving back to Boulder in 1976, I have been a music teacher, a public librarian, a lead sales coordinator for a software company, and a full-time stay at home mom. In 1996 I went back to teaching as a substitute, and in 1998 I became the librarian at Crest View Elementary. I love teaching at Crest View! The faculty, parents and students are the best I've ever worked with. I love inspiring students to read, to learn, and to turn information into knowledge.Personal Note
My family consists of my husband Phil, two sons Brian and Neal, and two crazy cats, Jasmine and Tequila. I enjoy woodworking, needlepoint, sewing, hiking, and of course, reading.
