END OF SEASON POTLUCK

Plan ahead for the End-of-Season Potluck on Sunday 11/16. Barb needs volunteers for many tasks, to obtain gifts for door prizes to raffle to the boys, to donate for supplies, to help organize the banquet, to decorate, etc.

KICK - OFF POTLUCK

DATE CHANGE - New date will be after the Soph team plays Monarch at home - Game starts at 4 pm - if you would like to come out early and support the Soph team!!!

When: Wednesday, Sept 10th at 5:30 pm or so (after the game)
Where: on the FHS Soccer Fields (not the turf)

Varsity players: Bring Salads
JV players: Bring Main course
Soph players: Bring Desserts

Everyone: Bring your own drinks, plates, napkins, silverware, chairs, etc.

This will be a good time to get to know one another and make sure we will accomplish all that is needed to help our boys be successful this season.

Barb Lish is working on a contingency plan in case of rain, but hope to have it at the same time, just indoors. We are all looking forward to a great turnout!

ALL players coming out for soccer will be meeting on Thursday May 15th during the
Lunch Block from 11:00 - 11:15 in room 641. See Coach Jozwiak if you have questions.

SUMMER TRAINING
Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tues. 7/22, 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the FHS Soccer Field.

PRE-SEASON CAMP
Mon. 8/4 - Fri. 8/8, 5:00 - 8:00 pm on the FHS Soccer Field.

ALL SESSIONS STARTING MONDAY, AUGUST 11 ARE MANDATORY.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

ALL FORMS/PHYSICAL/FEES are DUE prior to the 1^st training session MONDAY AUGUST 11. The eligibility forms are available in the FHS main office during the summer. They may be turned in starting Monday, August 4 to the Athletics secretary in the FHS main office, but MUST be turned in by the end of the day on Friday, August 8. There will be THREE teams: Frosh/Soph 'C' team – 9^th/10^th graders; Junior Varsity - 9/10/11^th graders; Varsity – 9-12^th graders. Each team will be made up of 16-20 players.
Player selection will take place after the 4th day of training (Aug. 14). Most years there ARE NOT enough spots on the teams for all the players who come out.
Attendance at ALL training and games is MANDATORY. This includes SATURDAYS AND HOLIDAYS. The regular weekly schedule includes training or matches Mondays – Saturdays. Sundays are ALWAYS a day off.
Players are responsible for preseason fitness and technical preparation, effort, respect for school officials and teammates, a presence that contributes to the building of strong teams, and ALL state, district, school and program requirements for academic performance and personal conduct.
