The Fairview Boys' Swimming and Diving
Team The Fairview Boys' Swimming and Diving Team is dedicated to building
scholar athletes. During the last ten years, 19 team members have received the
Academic All American designation by the National Interscholastic Swimming
Coaches Association.
During each of the last ten years, the team has placed in the top 10 among 5A
schools at the State Championships. Kevin Roche in 1998 and Ben Howard in 2002
each received the Hoyt Brauner Award as the outstanding senior swimmer for the
state of Colorado.
Fairview graduates are currently on the college swim teams at Colorado College,
Duke University, Kenyon College, University of Colorado (club team), University
of Massachusetts, Williams College, and the University of Wyoming.
