PTO & SIT
School Governance Opportunities
We are very fortunate to have several dedicated parents willing to serve on either of two school governance groups. Each has different roles that may interest you for different reasons. The meetings are always open to anyone in the school community.
The Flatirons PTO and School Improvement Team will usually meet separately, due to the different agendas and length of time for the meetings of each group. This is a different structure than parents new to our school from other schools might be used to. Parent input and concerns may be generated both at PTO and SIT meetings.
It is hoped that both the PTO and SIT would enjoy representation of at least one parent from each classroom. Please seriously consider joining either of these groups. The efforts of both groups serve the interests of all of our students.
