K-Care at Heatherwood

K-Care is a fee-based childcare program complementing the halfday kindergarten program at Heatherwood. Both the morning and afternoon sessions are taught by Ms. Weisbach (below) who also accompanies the children to lunch, where they can partake of the hot school lunch or eat their own lunch from home.

The K-Care program allows students to get some more experience, with field trips (such as shown here to Sawmill Ponds area) giving students more time out of the the classroom with classmates.
