Anna Villachica will be teaching art at Heatherwood again this year. She loves fostering creativity in children and exploring new artistic mediums. She loves learning new artforms from parents. Mrs. Villachica has taught art at the Family Learning Center, at the Dairy Center for the Arts, and in her own grade-level classrooms. She was a classroom teacher for two years in the Northern Mariana Islands and taught middle-school English in Mexico. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the areas of painting and video and received her teaching credential from Regis University. For the past five years she has primarily focused on ceramics. She has had art shows in Denver and Boulder. Mrs. Villachica lives with her husband Andy and her dog, Wiggles. |
