Sue Witmer teaches physical education. After graduating from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, she taught for six years at Wayland Junior High School. During that period of time she also coached field hockey, basketball, gymnastics and softball. Graduate school brought her west. After completing a Master's Degree in Experiential Education, she was hired in Boulder Valley to teach elementary P.E. "Teaching short-legged people is the best." Besides teaching, her interests include woodworking, hiking, climbing fourteeners, tennis, bike riding, scuba diving, and golf when it's absolutely necessary. |
