This is the biggest fundraiser for Heatherwood each year; in 2003 $26,000 was raised and used to hire a full time TAG teacher, a HIMAC literacy paraeducator, a media technology coordinator, and a materials and kit organizer. 2004's auction built on this, exceeding $36,000, and in 2005 more than $40,000 was raised. This money kept those paraeducators and provided additional instructional material. But last year's auction will not fund these positions indefinitely. This year's auction will hopefully allow us to continue to provide these services for our children and fund additional programs.
Our goal in 2006 is to raise $45,000 to hire supplemental teaching staff to reduce student to teacher ratios and to purchase additional instruction materials. Donations can be accepted until October 12th.

If you wish to buy a teacher ticket, buy one ticket as Gen'l Admin + Teacher and the other as just Gen'l Admission (if a couple)

There is a $2.50 fee per ticket charged by our online-service and VISA for this convenience so ticket prices are $45 before Oct 1st and $50 afterward
