Preschool Story Time

Butterfly

During the school year, preschoolers are welcome to attend kindergarten story time.  Since story time is part of the kindergarten curriculum, a preschooler who attends must be able to sit and pay attention for 15-20 minutes and a parent or adult caregiver needs to be nearby in case the child loses interest.  Occasionally, without notice, story times are cancelled because of field trips, research groups, or other special events, but preschoolers can still check out books even if there is no story.

Kindergarten storytimes 2005-6 school year were (2007-8 not set yet):

  • Monday at 12:15 to 12:45 with Mrs. Ransom
  • Friday at 9:30 to 10:00 with Mrs. Richey

During the summer of 2007, the library is open Tuesdays , June 19-July 31,with storytime with Mrs. Grieve.
