Enrollment

High Peaks is a focus school in the Boulder Valley School District that is based on the Core Knowledge curriculum. The Core Knowledge curriculum spirals in a framework that encompasses many facets of social studies and science, with the end result of deeper understandings. For math instruction, we use the EveryDay Math program which also spirals the curriculum throughout the grade levels. EveryDay Math presents key concepts in different ways for all styles of learners and results in solid skill development. We combine this with an excellent balanced literacy program. Open Enrollment 2010-2011

The application period for the 2010-2011 school year will begin at 8:00 am on Monday, November 30, 2009 and will close at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 15, 2010. Please visit the BVSD Open Enrollment page for more specifics.
