School Start Information

Drop Off- Please remember to drop off no earlier than 8:00 a.m. We do not have supervision before that time. Remember to pull forward in the drive-through, and that it is a “no parking” zone. Please honor all signage out front in regards to parking. The south side of the drive-through is reserved for staff. You are welcome to park and walk children to the west playground, and please respect and honor all neighborhood parking signs.

Before School-all students should meet on the west playground. If your child is getting dropped off and is tardy, he/she should use the front entrance and check in with the office.

Classroom Line Up-All students will meet on the west playground and we’ll have signs and staff out there to meet you. Look for the signs and your child’s teacher. We will make sure everyone gets safely to their classroom.

Pick Up-We will meet parents directly out in front of the building north of the drive-through as in previous years. Each teacher makes eye contact with the parent, nanny, grandparent etc. and will not let your child go without eye contact. Please pull through the drive-through to the west, and remember not to park there. Proceed slowly after pick-up and stop at the crosswalk.

Dogs-We request that no dogs be brought to school, even with a leash. As principal here, I did have a serious dog bite occur, and the student was bitten on the face by a dog. That was hard to attend to, and the student was traumatized. Thank you for your support with this.

Please pass this onto nannies, caregivers and grandparents…they often don’t know these procedures.
