School Mission Statement:

The mission of our multi-age community school is to nurture and challenge each child to achieve their fullest potential and to become creative, responsible and contributing world citizens.

Open Enrollment

Students open enroll from all over the area for the great opportunity provided by Jamestown Elementary. We do not have an Open House scheduled at this time although there are a number of opportunities to visit Jamestown. We will be having a winter program in the next weeks and will post the schedule here, you are welcome to come and enjoy these great events. Otherwise, we encourage folks to come and check out our school anytime. You are welcome to bring your kid(s) up for a visit and stay and participate as long as you'd like. Overview of Jamestown Elementary: JE is a wonderful K-5 school in the small community of Jamestown, Colorado. Jamestown lies in a picturesque valley in the mountains above Boulder. The school is one of the few remaining "One-Room" schools in the country. It's a place of excellent learning, joyful kids and wonderful social & educational opportunities. It's a multi-age classroom in a facility that provides the kids with a fun classroom, a great library, a large gym space, an art room (you should see the results!) and a great space for the after-school program.

The school is an integral part of the community where you can hear the shouts of the playground over the sound of Jim Creek flowing through town and you'll often see the kids on a science walk.

Jamestown Elementary is the kind of school that many parents dream of for their children.
