Open Enrollment

Students open enroll from all over the area for the great opportunity provided by Jamestown Elementary. We normally do not schedule specific open houses but we always welcome a visit to Jamestown. We also always welcome neighbors and friends to out school programs, you are always welcome at these great events. Otherwise, we encourage folks to come and check out our school anytime. You are welcome to bring your kid(s) up for a visit and stay and participate as long as you'd like. If you're considering visiting our school please call ahead to set up a visit. Overview of Jamestown Elementary: JE is a wonderful K-5 school in the small community of Jamestown, Colorado. Jamestown lies in a picturesque valley in the mountains above Boulder. The school is one of the few remaining "One-Room" schools in the country. It's a place of excellent learning, joyful kids and wonderful social & educational opportunities. It's a multi-age classroom in a facility that provides the kids with a fun classroom, a great library, a large gym space, an art room (you should see the results!) and a great space for the after-school program.

The school is an integral part of the community where you can hear the shouts of the playground over the sound of Jim Creek flowing through town and you'll often see the kids on a science walk.

Jamestown Elementary is the kind of school that many parents dream of for their children.
