Parent's Perspectives
Here are some things that folks
have to say about Jamestown Elementary:
Jamestown Elementary
is a wonderful place for kids to learn the 3 R's and
about life and love. My child loves her schoolmates
and looks forward to every school day.

Ines (the
teacher) and Beth (the para and art teacher) are
incredibly enthusiastic and amazing with the kids.

As if the
school were not enough, there's even a great
after-school program, Camp Jimtown. It’s on-site and
directed by a fabulous woman (Laura Williams). It's
very flexible, affordable and available until 6 pm.

This one-room
school house is an oasis. The teachers are amazing.
I wouldn't want to send my child anywhere else. The
teacher to student ratio at the school is
outstanding. I know my child gets the attention,
guidance and care that he needs.

This school has
everything that a larger one offers: art, P.E., and
music and a great curriculum. The bond that the kids
develop among their schoolmates is priceless. I
don't know how any other school could come close to
offering what this school does.

When my family
moved to the Boulder area, we toured several schools
looking for the right one for our kindergartener.
I'll always remember our first visit to
Jamestown Elementary.
Within the first 10 minutes of being there, we knew
it was the best place for our son. It's been
fabulous ever since. Gayle

Our kids love
going to school at Jamestown
Elementary.
Their experiences there have provided a foundation
for learning that will set a tone for the rest of
their lives. They love doing homework, or I should
say , creating their homework. Ines and Beth always
come up with projects and assignments that allow the
students to become involved in a creative and
independent way. And Jamestown is a true community
on all levels- students, teachers, parents, and
support staff. Everyone is involved in a passionate
and compassionate way. We all feel very fortunate to
be a part of it. Joe and

Jamestown Elementary
has had an unbeatable reputation for generations.
It was an outstanding place when I attended the
school in 1972 and remains a one of a kind
opportunity. Both my boys have thrived here and
will undoubtedly recall
Jamestown Elementary
as one of their
best educational experiences, just as I have.
