Our Vision
The goal of Lafayette Elementary School is to provide our students with a strong foundation of skills and academic experiences which enable them to think creatively and critically about their learning. Our standards-based curriculum promotes the development of strong academic skills and a positive attitude about achievement. In addition, our supportive environment prepares all students to become self-directed, lifelong learners. As a result of individualized instruction in our talented and gifted program, students will be prepared to take advantage of advanced academic opportunities in middle and high school classes. Lafayette Elementary School emphasizes high academic standards and talent development for all children and provides a qualitatively different education for those who are gifted.
