Dance

Through this performing arts course, students will create, perform, and respond to dance. Students will explore the history and culture of dance and choreography while receiving training in forms such as modern, jazz, hip-hop, modern, salsa, Steppin’ and folk dancing. Community field trips and professional guest artists will broaden students’ understanding of creative movement and artistic expression. Students will have opportunities to share their work through frequent performances.
