Visual Arts Focus

Visual Arts students have many exciting opportunities to develop explicit skills, explore the artistic process and nurture creative expression. This program offers drawing, painting, design, printmaking, sculpture, pottery, textiles, and computer graphics. Professional artists work directly with students during workshops throughout the year. Students share their works of art with the community through frequent school and community exhibitions. Art history and critiques along with museum visits combine to form one of the most comprehensive visual arts program in the district. Our young artists are consistently celebrated and recognized through this distinctive program.
