Cross Country Camp

2009 Save the Date

The 2009 Cross Country camp will be the week of July 27 - July 31 in Leadville, CO. There's availabilty for 50 campers, so return your registration forms as soon as possible.

General Information

Every summer, the Monarch High School holds a high altitude training camp in Leadville, CO.  Here's some information about last year's camp that you might find helpful - our flyer and our registration form. The camp is organized by Brad Clayton and Coach Rieder and is THE best camp Monarch offers. It's a great time with great coaching and great team building. We even have pictures from previous camps (here and here). Remember to fill out your forms and mail them to Mr. Clayton:

2008 Camp Information

The 2008 Cross Country camp was held the week of July 28 - August 1 in Leadville, CO. We met in the parking lot at Monarch High School on Monday morning and the bus to Leadville left at 7:30am.. These were the things to read before the 2008 camp:

• Camp schedule (so your parents know what you're doing)
• Camp information (so you know what to bring - and what not to ;-)
• Camp flyer (to tell everyone what it's all about)
• Camp pictures (so we can see what fun we had)
• More Camp pictures

We returned to the parking lot at Monarch on Friday between 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Some of the kids then went straight to the Relay for Life event held at Monarch High School. The Cross Country team raised money for the American Cancer Society by participating in the 15 hour event on the heels of camp. An energetic bunch - don't you think!
