POTTERY AND CRAFTS

All art classes are a semester in length.

At the Elementary and Middle levels in Art, students are introduced to skills and activities that build a foundation for art expression, knowledge about art, art criticism, and visual literacy. We believe that art should be a hands-on experience that provides a balance in our students’ day and encourages them to express themselves. We hope students leave our classes feeling proud and excited about what they accomplish in art. Student work is displayed around our building and shown in community art shows. One of our goals for the school year is to start a project to beautify the courtyard with tiles.
