Regular

In Math I, sixth graders will review and strengthen skills previously covered, while moving ahead into standard topics. In this course, the Connected Mathematics Project materials are used. Each unit is organized around real-world problems which motivate students to learn the mathematical concepts and kills, while developing proficiency in problem solving and reasoning.

Math I Honors

In Math I Honors, sixth graders will move directly into advanced middle level math concepts. The Glencoe/McGraw-Hill text, Mathematics: Applications and Connections Course 2, is used. This course moves at a fast pace, which means good organizaiton and good study skills are a must!
