WOODWORKING/CRAFTS

This course emphasizes activities involving woodworking as well as a variety of craft projects. The major woodworking projects to choose from are coffee and end tables, beach chair, C D holder, plant stand, decorative box or chessboard. Some of the crafts the students may choose to do are: stained glass in a stepping stone or a light catcher, photography, airbrush, fly tying, wood burning, beading leather craft, foundry, scroll saw pattern cutting, engraving, balloon animal making, envelope making, to name a few. Accuracy, neatness, sound work habits and safety are stressed. A fee is assessed for material used.
