Band
Our extensive middle school band program provides students with the opportunity to develop their musical skills and to work cooperatively with others while discovering and celebrating the joy of music.
Throughout the school day, Angevine offers Beginning Band, 6th Grade Band, 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band and Jazz Band, providing students at varying levels of musical proficiency with the opportunity to improve and build upon their musical skills. The lessons are taught to conform to state and national standards for music education and include experiences in various styles and genres of music.
Our band students have the opportunity to show off their skills during band concerts--evening performances are hosted typically twice a year. Other opportunities include daytime festivals and field trips--several occur each year at Centaurus High School.
