Angevine Pre-Engineering Program
Angevine Middle School holds the distinction of being the only Middle School in Boulder Valley School District that hosts a pre-engineering program. The program is specifically designed to feed students into the Centaurus High School pre-engineering program. The program is currently divided into two classes, one seventh grade class and one eight grade class.
T.I.D.E (7th grade class)- T.I.D.E (Technology. Innovation. Design. Engineering) is a trimester long class that focuses on some basic principles of engineering. Students are put in a creative working environment to learn some skills of the trade. Tools such as 3D C.A.D design, and common workplace tools are used on a daily basis.
Gateway to Engineering (8th grade class)- Gateway to Engineering is a full year class that prepares students to continue on with engineering in High School. The class builds on many of the skills learned in T.I.D.E, and takes them to the next level.
