 Biography

Education
Masters in Education, Special Education License, Regis University
College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, University of Cincinnati

Experience
Although I am today the 7th Grade Resource Room
teacher, my own career began as an interior
designer.
I got to work in architectural offices on large public
projects; one being the Arizona Courts Building in
Phoenix. As part of that project, I got to work with
both Appellate and Supreme Court Justices for the
state of Arizona. This was probably the most
rewarding and demanding job I have ever worked on.

Philosophy
My goal at Angevine Middle School is to nurture curiosity
and to encourage students to think of learning not as an
event but rather as a lifelong adventure. I believe my own
life illustrates how curiosity and the love of learning shape
ones life in unexpected ways.

Role at AMS
6th Grade Resource Room - I became interested in Special
Education as a result of helping my own dyslexic/ADHD child
learn how to succeed in school. This led me to complete my
Masters in Education with a license in Special Education
from Regis University.
