Philosophy
I believe that social studies is more than just geography; social studies is the opportunity to learn about ourselves as well as other societies and cultures that inhabit our planet; social studies is where we learn to become 'world citizens'.  As a result of technological advances, our world grows 'smaller' every day putting us in contact with each other - awareness and acceptance of each other creates a world citizen which benefits all of humanity - present and future.

Role at Angevine
This is my 13th year at AMS, the majority of my tenure here has been teaching social studies for traditional and dual language students but I have also taught reading.  Prior to coming to AMS, I taught in Weld County and in DPS.  Currently I share my classroom with 7th grade social studies students.
