Philosophy
I love kids and I love teaching music. Music education provides an opportunity to be expressive and creative, learn teamwork and respect, think more globally by being exposed to a variety of cultures, and apply core knowledge and abstract thinking skills. I love seeing my students' faces light up when they take on a challenge, work hard, and experience the fun and pride of making music together!
 
Role at Angevine
As Choir Director I teach 6th grade beginning chorus, 7th and 8th grade mixed choir, and an advanced 7th and 8th grade select choir. I also teach 6th grade exploratory music and coach vocal solo and ensemble sessions. I serve as sponsor for the choir council.
