5/17/13 - Enrollment

Hello!

As a reminder, during Summer vacation, parents will be able to start, and in many cases, complete the enrollment process through the Student Enrollment Center.

Starting 6/3/2013 for Summer vacation, each SEO receipt page will instruct parents to bring all documentation directly to the Student Enrollment Center.  Once received at our office, we’ll verify all information, complete enrollments (for elementary schools), process enrollments up to the point of the safe schools addendum (for secondary schools), and compile your schools’ documentation packets for easy electronic retrieval once your staff returns from vacation.  Receipt pages instructions will return to regular instructions on 8/7/2013.

In order to promote completion of the enrollment process over Summer vacation, we are requesting that you or your Principal ask your school’s webmaster to add the attached message on the home page or the enrollment page of your school’s website.  Please keep in mind that the message will only remain during your school’s Summer vacation and can be removed once your school’s staff returns to the office and is ready to accept enrollment paperwork.

Please contact us with any questions.

Sincerely,

Student Enrollment Center

Personal Giving

As members of the Community Montessori family, we are committed to sustaining a unique and enriching learning environment for our children. While BVSD (Boulder Valley School District) provides the basics for our classrooms it is up to Community Montessori parents, families, friends, employers, and school alumni to provide the enhancements that make our children’s educational experience true to the Montessori model.

Over the past few years the PGC campaign (CM’s largest annual fundraiser) has raised an average of $20,000 per year. This year’s goal is to raise $20,000 and have 100% of families participate. This will allow CM to maintain its strong paraprofessional presence in the classroom, socioeconomic diversity, and provide quality Montessori classroom materials.

Safe2Tell
In an effort to enhance opportunities to prevent school violence, BVSD is also participates in the highly-regarded Safe2Tell program. The Safe2Tell hotline provides an anonymous way to report crimes and potential crimes. Anyone can use this system to make a report to prevent a crime, bullying, or other threat to the safety of the school or the safety of a student or staff member at a school. The report is completely anonymous: your name is not required to stop a crime or abuse from happening.
