Playing at Casey

Casey offers both interscholastic and intramural sports programs. Students are required to register for each sport season at their school. Students can register any time up to the first day of the season. Download the correct registration form (listed to the left), and hand in to Casey Athletic Secretary Carrie Hausfather in the office with applicable fees. All forms must be signed by the athlete and parent, and returned to school. For Interscholastic sports, a physical is required prior to participating.

Interscholastic Sports The interscholastic athletic program provides a transition between intramural programs and more competitive high school programs. Interscholastic athletics offer continued emphasis on participation and enjoyment of physical activity while allowing increased attention to coaching and skill development. Programs include five to eight contests with other schools; transportation is by school bus. BVSD creates the game schedules approximately a week into the season - after receiving the rosters from the individual schools. We will post the game dates here on the website as soon as we receive them. Students may miss approxiately 30 minutes of class time for away games. All games end at approximately 6:00pm. Fee: $85.00 per sport, current physical required.

Intramural Sports The intramural program provides an introduction to athletics with an emphasis on participation and enjoyment of physical activity while participating on a team. The program offers approximately three weeks to practice and learn, and it concludes with a culminating activity with other Boulder Valley middle school intramural teams.

Fee: $45.00 per sport.
