3rd Quarter Websites
Students used "Web Blender" webbuilding software created by Tech 4Learning to build research-based projects such as the famous person websites these students created. Students used the Internet to find information about their subjects (including citing their sources) and used Publisher templates to create a newsletter about their subjects, which included pictures, textboxes, headlines, cutlines, lists, and other print design features. Much of that could be transferred and reassigned to their websites, but reorganizing, looking for more information, then adding internal and external links was required to complete their websites.

4th Quarter Websites
Students in this class piloted "Share," webbuilding software created by Tech 4Learning as a possible replacement for the "Web Blender" software used during 3rd quarter. Our goal is to find software that is more intuitive than html (and without the glitches) that allows students to build research-based projects such as the famous person websites these students created. Students used the Internet to find information about their subjects (including citing their sources) and used Publisher templates to create a newsletter about their subjects, which included pictures, textboxes, headlines, cutlines, lists, and other print design features.
