She has expertise in play therapy, trauma resolution, and other strength based, client centered practices. She loves supporting students and their loved ones to remove obstacles while having fun. Jean Franklin, FRS Therapist
Hello, my name is Jeanne Franklin. I am the new Family Resources Specialist (FRS) at Columbine. I am very excited to be part of the Columbine team. I have been an infant, child, adolescent and family therapist with the Mental Health Center in Boulder and in Broomfield since 1999. I majored in Spanish and French at Purdue University and studied a year in Madrid, Spain. My first five years as a social worker were spent working with migrant farmworkers in Indiana and in Wisconsin. I have three sons who are college students at CU-Boulder, CSU and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I love to run and walk my two dogs in Broomfield, where I live. I look forward to meeting all of you this school year.
