Eisenhower Yo-Yo Club
I would like to once again offer a YO-YO club to Eisenhower Elementary students second through fifth grade. The YO-YO club would meet after school during our school’s physical education YO-YO unit.
The YO-YO club would meet everyday from Tuesday, February 16th through Friday, February 19th, and from Monday, February 22nd through Thursday February 25th, from 3:10 to 4:00 pm each day in the gym.
There would be a fifteen dollar cost for students to participate. This cost is to help defer the cost of special guests that would be assisting me during the YO-YO club. If the cost is a concern for your family please come and visit with me.
Please note: the number of students that can participate will be limited to 50 students for safety reasons.
Enrollment will be on a first come first serve basis; if your child is interested in attending the YO-YO club they will need to pick-up an enrollment form from Mr. Neitenbach and return it to him as soon as possible. Mr. Neitenbach will share the YO-YO club forms with students during Physical Education classes a few weeks prior to the Yo-Yo unit/club.
Also during Eisenhower Elementary Physical Education YO-YO unit, yo-yo’s will be provided for all students. If students have purchased yo-yo’s in the past they are welcome to bring them in to use during Physical Education class. If they need new parts or string, I have those items to fix yo-yo’s for a small fee. If a student would like to purchase a yo-yo for themselves they can for $8.75, these are a good quality yo-yo’s that can be repaired if something happens to them, for the most part. Remember, yo-yo’s are available for all students to use during Physical Education class and during YO-YO Club.
