EISENHOWER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

2011-2012 SUPPLY LIST

This is the basic list of supplies which teachers at each grade level have

indicated will be used throughout the year. Individual teachers may ask

for other supplies to be furnished by the student throughout the year.

We support recycled items, whenever possible.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND PENCIL SHARPENERS, UNLESS REQUESTED BY

SPECIFIC GRADE LEVEL.

PLEASE BE SURE STUDENTS WEAR OR BRING TENNIS SHOES FOR P.E.!!!

KINDERGARTEN

1 box of Crayola Crayons-24 count

2 Papermate Flair pens-black

1 Pull top disinfecting wipes

1 roll paper towels

1 box washable “fat” markers-8 count

1 set crayola watercolor paints (basic colors)

1 package Glue Sticks

1 box Kleenex

1 package dry erase markers

1 Package Aluminum pie tins

Check for $10 for film printing and extra class

supplies (made out to Eisenhower Elem.)

1 large sturdy labeled backpack to be brought

to school everyday

FIRST GRADE:

 

1 sturdy folder for Friday folder

1 large box Kleenex

1 set large Crayola watercolor markers

(Must be basic 8 colors)

1 box crayons, 24 count (not the big box)

1 pair 5” pointed Fiskars scissors

1 school box (cigar box size)

1 Elmer’s glue (WHITE 4 oz. size)

1 set Crayola watercolor paints (non-fluorescent)

2 black sharpies

1 box full-length colored pencils

2 containers Disinfection Wipes

6 glue sticks, jumbo size preferred

1 box gallon, or quart size or 2.5 gallon

Ziploc bags, easy “zipper preferred

1 24 #2 wooden yellow pencils *Ticonderoga Dixon

1 Package Dry Erase markers

Kleenex, glue, pens and pencils will be

collected and shared throughout the

SECOND GRADE:

THIRD GRADE

 

2 containers (antibacterial wipes)

1 box of plastic resealable bags

 (Last name A-L sandwich size; Last name M-Z gallon size)

36 #2 pre sharpened pencils with erasers

1 4oz. white glue

1 pack of wide rule lined paper

5 wide-lined spiral notebooks (no perforated tear

out pages) - red, green, yellow, purple, blue

1 box crayons, 24 colors

1 box colored pencils

1 box thick markers (washable)

1 12” ruler, metric and U.S. scales (standard)

4 glue sticks

1 pencil pouch- NO SCHOOL BOX

2 folders with pockets on the bottom 1 plain red,

1 plain green

3rd Grade Cont-

1 Composition Book

2 plastic or really durable folders (Friday folder and

take home folder)

2 pink erasers

1 yellow and 1 orange highlighter

2 Boxes of Tissues

$10 for planner and Time for Kids subscription

4 Expo pens (different colors)

1 12” ruler with metric scale

2 boxes Kleenex- large box

4 spiral notebooks- wide lined, 70 pages each

7 – 2 pocket folders with brads

2 containers Disenfecting wipes- for cleaning desks

2 packages post-its

1 bottle hand sanitizer

1 Highlighter pen

Purchased at school) – strongly recommended.

FIFTH GRADE

 

1 pencil pouch (with 3 holes for binders)

2 pkg. loose leaf paper, wide lined, replenished

as needed.

12 #2 pencils, replenished as needed

3 ball point pens

1 pair 5” scissors – pointed

2 glue sticks

2 large boxes of Kleenex

1 highlighter pen

6 or 7 pocket folders (with 3 holes)

2 fine tip dry erase markers- replenish as needed

Colored pencils/markers/crayons

2 inch binder (cloth zip binder works best)

1 Ruler

1 Protractor

3 Composition Books

1 container of Clorox  wipes

1 bottle of Hand Sanitizer

4 pack of Post-it notes

The following supplies are needed to help with the on-going

district budget cuts. This list is optional. All donations are

more than welcome and very helpful.

 

1 ream of white Xerox paper 8 ½ x 11- 20 lb. (500 sheets)

(not typing paper) Markers- transparency markers, fine

felt tips, dry erase markers, correction fluid, paperclips

(small, large, butterfly).
