Counseling/Post Grad

                                                                              Counseling Office Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

The Counseling Department is responsible for keeping tabs on students' academic records and aiding in the course selection, college application, and graduation process. Students may also come to the counseling office for guidance and support. Our offices are located in the lower center offices next to the Post Graduate Center and Student Center. 
                                                                How Do I See a Counselor?
Students: Come to the counseling office during your free period, lunch period or before and after school.  Most counselors have a daily calendar posted outside their office enabling students to make an appointment.  Some counselors make their own appointments personally.  It's always acceptable to contact your counselor via e-mail. 

Please feel free to ask one of the secretaries for assistance.  In most instances, they will be able to direct you to the right forms, procedures for classes and college prep information prior to seeing your counselor.  The post-grad center is available for walk-ins all day long for post-graduate planning and is managed by trained volunteers.
Parents:  It's best to call the office to arrange an appointment to see your student's counselor.  This ensures appropriate time allocated to your needs.  Stopping by the office could result in long wait times or a counselor not available.
