There are many alternatives to going to college. Some students delay college for a year while others choose to attend vocational schools or community colleges, or choose to enlist in the military.
Is a four year university just not the right choice? Perhaps a trade school or a vocational program at a community college is a better match. A number of well-paid and rewarding careers such as real estate, sonography or investigative forensics are attained through vocational certificate programs.
