20-Jan DECA Scholarship Program DECA is an association committed to Marketing and Entrepreneurial  Education.  To apply for the scholarships, student must be a DECA member. See website for joining DECA. The website has many scholarships listed along with applications.  Most are corporation sponsored. See also DECA Book in the post grad center (file cabinet under DECA) which includes several scholarships.  DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges across the globe. DECA members can begin their participation in the high school division as early as the ninth grade and continue through college graduation by participating in the collegiate division.

  FastWeb Scholarship Website Need to register and fill out a lengthy profile but the site has good functionality and information on over 400,000 scholarships, fellowships, internships, and loans. You can receive emails on new entries that match your search criteria. BEWARE: the number of ads and spam is very high.  Recommended only if you set up a secondary e-mail address so that the spam goes there.    
  International Scholarship Website Intended for students wanting to study abroad although US-based scholarships are shown too.  Recommended for students considering international schools.    
  Latino College Dollars: Scholarships for Latino Students This website is dedicated to listing all scholarships for hispanic/latino students including, but not restricted to, those that do not require citizenship.  At the website, click on "scholarship directory" to get lists according to a variety of criteria.
IMPORTANT NOTE:  The Search feature might not work as you expect it to. You get more results if you enter a lower GPA number than if you enter a higher one. So, to get complete results, try searching for your grade point average and LOWER GPAs.

  MACH25 Scholarship Website General scholarship search site with no spam. You can do a keyword search, or search based on a personal profile that you set up for yourself. Setting up a profile has some useful options.    
  MeritAid Scholarship Website This website lists merit scholarships available throughout the university and college system.  Students with a variety of GPAs may qualify.  Not recommended as a primary search tool, but you can search by a specific college name without setting up a profile.  This is recommended because the profile does not seem to affect the results. Ads and spam are high.  Recommended as a secondary search tool when you have a particular school in mind; Merit-based    
  Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund Scholarship List This website has a list of general scholarships for students regardless of immigration status. View the detailed PDF file for an 18-page list of scholarship possibilities. The web site also contains links to specific scholarship programs.   Sallie Mae Scholarship Search This organization now uses the Sallie Mae free scholarship service, which is where the link takes you. Results are scanty but results yielded some scholarships that weren't usually displayed using other search engines.   College Aid Sources for Higher Education
  United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarships & Grants This web site lists corporate (such as General Mills, Google, Lockheed Martin)  and foundation (such as NAACP, Gates Millenium) sponsored scholarships for African-American students as well as providing information about the UNCF General Scholarship.  The site has a search engine that can be used to explore the range of scholarships. The search engine is at   For example, at least 238 scholarships are listed for college freshman year with different deadlines throughout the year. For example, NAACP deadlines are in early March. Others are in different months.
