Standardized tests such as the SAT or ACT are required by many, but not all, colleges as part of the admissions process. Some colleges require additional standardized tests such as the SAT II subject exams. Additionally, college credit can be obtained for successful completion of AP exams.

For a description of the tests (PSAT, ACT, SAT, SAT Subject and AP), information on how to register, test preparation, and a comparison of SAT vs. ACT, see the article Testing for College Admission.

ATTENTION All JUNIORS: Juniors will take the State ACT on Tuesday, April 24th during school hours from 7:30 am - 12:00 noon.  Students DO NOT need to register for this test.  This is a State required ACT at no cost to the student/family and all Juniors take it.  The scores from this test are official and can be used for colleges & NCAA.
