PreIB10: World Lit and Comp

This year we will work to prepare you for junior/senior IB English or AP English classes.  The ultimate goal for this class is for students to develop the ability to read universally recognized literature in an analytical and critical manner and to be able to respond articulately to this literature. We will also work to develop your discussion and creative writing skills in attempt to improve your overall writing, enjoyment, and understanding of various types of literature.

A Note on Becoming an Academic Self Advocate

As you work throughout the semester, you may notice you really understand some content and easily meet some standards while you struggle with others a bit more.  Take initiative and look for the help you need to improve.  I am always willing to make appointments.
