Welcome to High Peaks Elementary!

      As a Core Knowledge focus school, High Peaks integrates the essential elements of BVSD Standards and the Core Knowledge Sequence.  Core Knowledge offers a coherent, spiraling curriculum designed to provide a lasting body of knowledge, fundamentals of curricular elements. The Core Knowledge Sequence is built on the foundation that academic excellence, educational equity and fairness demands a strong foundation of knowledge for all learners.

Our dedicated staff provides an educational program which supports students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Our instructional program is balanced with high expectations and developmentally appropriate, experiential learning.  We are proud to be recipients of the National Blue Ribbon Award, as well as the John Irwin School of Excellence Award for high performance and outstanding achievement
