Program

The Kindergarten Enrichment Program is a complement to the BVSD's half day Kindergarten class. It provides two and a half hours of a fun, creative program and a supervised lunch and recess period. We Emphasize:
·       a love of learning

·       development of a solid foundation for success

·       building social skills and healthy friendships

·       learning to listen to & appreciate a diversity of opinion & ideas

·       an exploration of a wide variety of materials in visual arts

·       opportunities for imaginative & dramatic play & storytelling

Colleen Paananen - Kindergarten Enrichment Specialist

We have a strong, experienced, team and an unrivaled environment for play based learning to supplement the school day."

I was eager to join the team to be a part of the team providing the kind of exciting learning experiences my children had. Working with five and six year olds is what draws me to this work. Though I’d hardly call it work. It’s an adventure."
