Background:
I have been a Para at Lafayette Elementary for 9 years. Being a Para Educator at Lafayette Elementary is very rewarding. The teachers and students are great.

Special Interests:
I enjoy gardening, reading and travel. We have a small ranch where we raise llamas, horses and chickens. Our border collie, Pippa, helps herd all the animals.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
We took a trip to Vermont and Maine - what a beautiful part of the country. It was so green and lush.

Special Interests:
I am in my 6th year at Lafayette Elementary as a Para for multi-intensive (SPED). I enjoy traveling and spending time with my new husband. I love to hike and enjoy the great outdoors.

I have been a Para in the Lafayette Elementary Preschool for over 17 years.

Special Interests:
I enjoy hiking, biking, reading and word puzzles.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
Driving to Niagara Falls and New Hampshire

I have worked as a Special Education Para Educator for 8 years in the Resource Room at Lafayette Elementary.

Special Interests:
I enjoy reading, hiking, scrap booking and making jewelry.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
I went back to Kentucky to visit my family.

Background:
I attended the University of Oklahoma and Texas Women's University where I studied Interior Design.

Special Interests:
I have worked at Lafayette for 4 1/2 years in Special Ed and also as a workroom para.  I took two years off to help my sister start her interior design business.  I enjoy gardening, especially flowers, stock investing, reading and being artistic.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
I am not sure I have a most memorable summer adventure.  Some of my favorites were Banff, Cabo and driving to Key West.

I have assisted in the Special Education classrooms in all academic areas for 16 years. This is my 11th year at Lafayette Elementary as a multi-intensive special education Para.

Special Interests:
I like to cook, work in my flower garden, travel and spend time with my husband and four kids.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
Our trip to Maui with the whole family in June, 2006.

BS Elementary Education with a minor in English

I have taught for 2 years in grades 5 and 6 in Vermont. I have been a Resource Room Para Educator for 12 years at Lafayette Elementary.

Special Interests:
I enjoy travel, reading, cooking and walking.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
Working with autistic preschool children for ESY at Creekside Elementary.

Background:
I have done a lot of volunteering in my own children’s classrooms throughout the years at Sanchez Elementary School. This will be my 5th year at Lafayette Elementary in the SIED Program.

Special Interests:
I enjoy my family, good friends and reading a good book. Lafayette Elementary is the best. We have a great group of people to work with!

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
I had a very relaxing summer. Swam, laid by the pool, read some good books and enjoyed my family and friends.

Accounting at Front Range Community College

I am a Para Educator here at Lafayette Elementary and work in the Multi-Intensive program. I started as a Para in January 2003 and previously worked in the kitchen serving breakfast.

Special Interests:
I enjoy scrap booking, supporting my children in all of their activities,  shopping, and spending as much time as I can with my family and friends.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
Planning a Congratulations and Good Luck on your Journey party for my 19 year old son, who left for the Navy on July 21st. This was quite an adventure due to the fact that I only had 10 days to plan it.

I have been a Para at Lafayette Elementary School since 1995.

Special Interests:
I enjoy horseback riding, gardening, going to garage sales, travel, and watching children grow and learn.

What was your most memorable summer adventure?
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by taking a cruise through southeast Alaska.
